In 2011, Joel Perez Da Souza, a retired bricklayer who lives in a coastal area of Rio de Janeiro -Brazil-, found Jingjing, a Magellanic penguin who came to the shore of the beach covered in fuel. The care and affection provided by the old man, have made this little always go home, after your annual migration.
Joel assures that lives with Jingjing for about 8 months a year, providing food and a place to rest during all that time. Later, when the animal considers appropriate, it enters the sea and disappears for days, weeks, or even months. But most surprising of all, is that little Jingjing he always ends up coming back to his friend's side. This is his story:
